    12:00 pm

**** Event Rescheduled to November 4th from Noon to 1pm ****

This year the IES Boston and Rhode Island Section is lucky to count the current IES President Susanne Seitinger among our local members.

Please join us for a virtual event with Susanne, where she will share her vision for the IES and her term as President. In particular, she’ll share an update on the search for the new Executive Director and the IES’s progress towards implementing the Strategic Advocacy Plan. Susanne will also share how the pandemic has shaped her vision for the Society post-pandemic: “I want my presidency to focus on reconnecting and reimagining. The IES is looking forward to bringing our community back together again to reconnect with friends and colleagues, to learn from each other, and to capture the very latest in lighting knowledge, research, and standards. With a strong team in place, I know the IES will make great strides to execute our strategic plan and achieve our goals with excellence.”

Following this introduction and several short videos introducing The Lighting Library, we will have a “Ask Me Anything” session. If you would like to send in a question, please add them to the event Slido here. The Slido will also be open through the end of the event.

Please register by 10am the morning of Thursday, November 4th.
