Landscape After Dark: An Outdoor Lighting Mockup @ The Loring Greenough House
Greenough House
Join IES Boston and the Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA) for an outdoor lighting mockup at the historic Loring Greenough House in Jamaica Plain.
After arrivals and a short welcome, we’ll walk through a live demonstration with fixtures already in place on the grounds. We’ll look at several approaches to lighting trees and discuss how each changes the look and feel of the space after dark. We’ll also talk about other opportunities for landscape lighting across the site. Afterward, we’ll gather for a social hour, a chance for lighting and landscape design professionals to catch up and compare notes on what we saw.
The mockup also has a practical purpose: helping Loring Greenough House explore possibilities for future permanent landscape lighting. Come see how different approaches could inform the next chapter of this historic landscape.
