WHAT: Sunset walking tour of the Somerville Ave. Utility and Streetscape Improvements Project

Join the IES as we walk along Somerville Avenue and view the new and improved street and pedestrian lighting. Hear about the lighting design and improved green stormwater infrastructure.
The Somerville Avenue Utility and Streetscape Improvements project takes place along Somerville Avenue from Union Square to Medford Street.
This project addresses legacy stormwater flooding issues by upgrading the underground stormwater management in Union Square as well as improving the lighting and adding lighting controls to enhance the overall streetscape.

Green Line Union Square MBTA stop. Rideshare from Lyft or Uber. Small, shared parking lot next to the building, paid lots, and street parking.
