Angela is celebrating her thirtieth year at Schwartz/Silver Architects and is the firm’s President and Library Practice Leader. She has made a significant contribution to the firm’s portfolio of civic, academic, and cultural projects, with a special emphasis on library design, for which she was recently elevated to Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. Her work has been recognized with over thirty design awards and has been published widely. Angela serves on the Boston Landmarks Commission and enjoys photographing historic homes in her Boston neighborhood.

As the firm’s CEO and founder of HLB’s Boston studio, Carrie has over 30 years of architectural lighting design experience. With a holistic and innovative approach, she combines practicality and aesthetics to deliver project-specific solutions. Carrie’s dynamic leadership enables HLB to navigate challenging design interventions with skill and enthusiasm. She actively contributes to the Boston architectural community and shares her thought leadership with worldwide lighting and architecture communities.
